The Corti in Tavola International Film Festival celebrates this cultural expression, inviting creators from around the world to tell stories of food and its territories, societies and peoples, traditions, and memory through the universal language of cinema. The festival is an ode to global territorial identities, enhancing cultures and peculiarities through the cinematographic narration of gastronomic traditions. Each edition focuses on a "theme of the year," highlighting specific aspects of the vast food universe.

For the second edition, the festival highlights the Olive and Olive Oil, symbols of the Mediterranean and witnesses to a millennial history that continues to influence our daily lives, deserving the nickname "Green Gold."

In addition to promoting the talents of independent cinema, the festival facilitates exchanges of experiences, direct confrontations with industry professionals, and the expansion of skills, increasing the visibility of participants to a wider audience.

Exploring the deep connection between the olive, olive oil, and human civilization, this section invites short films that illuminate their cultural, historical, and everyday importance.

Rules & Terms

Regolamento del Corti in Tavola International Film Festival

Partecipazione e Temi:

Il Corti in Tavola International Film Festival accoglie cortometraggi di ogni genere e nazionalità, che devono essere stati completati dopo il 1° gennaio 2021.
Ogni opera presentata deve rispecchiare il tema dell'anno o inserirsi in una delle sezioni tematiche del festival, come specificato nella call for entries. Quest'anno il focus è sull'Olivo e l'Olio d'Oliva, oltre alle sezioni permanenti su Cibo, Territori e Società, Gusto Italiano, Street Food e una sezione dedicata ai giovani.

Requisiti dei Film:

I cortometraggi non devono superare i 30 minuti di durata, titoli di coda inclusi.
Le opere in lingua non italiana devono essere sottotitolate in italiano o in inglese.
Modalità di Presentazione:

La sottomissione dei film avviene esclusivamente attraverso la piattaforma FilmFreeway. Non è richiesto l'invio di copie fisiche per la selezione.
Al momento della selezione, sarà richiesto di fornire materiale promozionale digitale (foto, trailer, sinossi) attraverso la piattaforma o via email.

Diritti e Autorizzazioni:

Con la presentazione del film, l'autore o il produttore garantisce di possedere tutti i diritti necessari per la partecipazione al festival, inclusi i diritti musicali e di immagine.
Il festival si riserva il diritto di utilizzare estratti del film (fino a un massimo di 3 minuti), immagini e materiali promozionali forniti per attività di comunicazione e promozione legate all'evento.

Selezione e Premiazione:

I film selezionati saranno valutati da una giuria di esperti del settore cinematografico e enogastronomico. La giuria assegnerà i premi previsti per le diverse categorie in concorso.
I dettagli sui premi e sulle cerimonie di premiazione saranno comunicati sul sito ufficiale e attraverso i canali social del festival.

Responsabilità:

Gli organizzatori declinano ogni responsabilità per eventuali violazioni dei diritti d'autore da parte dei partecipanti. È responsabilità dei partecipanti garantire che non vi siano violazioni dei diritti di terzi.
La partecipazione al festival implica l'accettazione di questo regolamento in tutte le sue parti.

Giurie e Premi:

Le opere saranno valutate da una giuria di qualità, la cui composizione sarà annunciata sul sito ufficiale del festival. Le decisioni della giuria sono inappellabili.
Saranno previsti premi specifici, la cui natura e quantità potranno variare in base al budget annuale del festival e saranno comunicati tempestivamente.

Disposizioni Finali:

In caso di controversie, farà fede il testo del regolamento in italiano. Per ogni eventuale disputa è competente il Foro di Lecce.

Corti in Tavola International Film Festival: Rules and Regulations

Participation and Themes:

The Corti in Tavola International Film Festival welcomes short films of all genres and nationalities, which must have been completed after January 1, 2021.
Each work submitted must reflect the theme of the year or fit into one of the thematic sections of the festival, as specified in the call for entries. This year, the focus is on the Olive and Olive Oil, in addition to the permanent sections on Food, Territories and Society, Italian Taste, Street Food, and a section dedicated to young audiences.

Film Requirements:

Short films must not exceed 30 minutes in length, including credits.
Works in languages other than Italian must be subtitled in Italian or English.

Submission Method:

Film submissions are exclusively made through the FilmFreeway platform. The submission of physical copies for selection is not required.
Upon selection, you will be required to provide digital promotional material (photos, trailer, synopsis) via the platform or by email.

Rights and Authorizations:

By submitting the film, the author or producer guarantees they hold all necessary rights for the festival participation, including music and image rights.
The festival reserves the right to use excerpts from the film (up to a maximum of 3 minutes), images, and provided promotional materials for communication and promotion activities related to the event.

Selection and Awards:

Selected films will be evaluated by a jury of experts from the film and gastronomic sectors. The jury will award the prizes for the different competition categories.
Details on the awards and award ceremonies will be communicated on the official website and through the festival's social media channels.

Liability:

The organizers disclaim any responsibility for possible copyright infringements by the participants. It is the participants' responsibility to ensure no third-party rights are violated.

Juries and Prizes:

Works will be evaluated by a quality jury, whose composition will be announced on the festival's official website. The jury's decisions are final.

Final Provisions:

In case of disputes, the Italian version of these regulations will prevail. For any disputes, the competent authority is the Court of Lecce.
