I have written and made movies most of my life. I attended the University of Texas here in Austin and majored in Film. I’ve continued my studies in film and literature while living in San Francisco.

I’ve directed and produced The Dicks From Texas about a 80’s hardcore gay punk band, The Dicks and produced a covers record of 28 Dicks songs performed by 27 great bands.

I’ve written several books and screenplays. Jackson was a script which has been novelized. I wrote Jules, the Truth Finder, an erotic paranormal twin flames romance novel and a collection of short stories, Small Texas. Pit Bull Nation is my memoir about saving pit bulls from death row shelters and placing in loving homes without so much as a nail scratch.

I write every day and meet stringent deadlines. I love to create films, but writing is my passion. And the animals. I’m currently shooting Tuff Enuff: The Real Story of the Fabulous Thunderbirds. Short bit about the project on my site cindymarabito.com/tuffenuff.
