Award winning filmmaker Cindi Knapton created her first film in high school in San Diego—where she also began her acting career playing Lady Bracknell in The Importance of Being Earnest. She then earned her architecture degree from UC Berkeley and worked around the world studying comparative religions while visualizing, scheduling, budgeting and managing the construction of mammoth building projects. She eventually returned to the world of film via the Art Departments of Star Wars Episode II & III, Matrix Revolutions & Reloaded, Son of the Mask and Superman Returns. Her passion is producing female driven storylines particularly within the transcendent vehicles of comedy and science fiction. She is currently developing a feature thriller set in the rainforests of Queensland and near future Sci-Fi TV pilot set at a school for psychic teenagers at the Moons of Jupiter. She is a dual US/Australian citizen.
