New this year, we’re launching the "Short of the Week" feature—a weekly spotlight on standout short films, premiering every Thursday. Selected films will receive exclusive promotional features across our platforms.

How to Submit for Short of the Week:
To be considered, filmmakers must meet the following criteria:

✔️ FilmFreeway Submission – All films must be submitted via FilmFreeway with a playable video link.
✔️ Trailer – A captivating teaser that encapsulates your film’s essence.
✔️ Still Shots – At least three high-quality stills representing key moments and the film’s visual tone.
✔️ Content Relevance – Your film must align with the category it’s submitted under.
✔️ Social Media Handles – Share your active social profiles so we can amplify your work!

Categories for Submission
CAFF invites filmmakers and artists worldwide to submit their work in various categories, celebrating creativity and innovation. To be considered, submissions must include the following essential components:

🎬 Trailer – Showcase the heart of your film in a short preview.
🎥 Full-Length Film – Your complete short film.
📸 Still Photos – High-quality images capturing the visual tone of your piece.
📜 Synopsis – A brief, compelling description of your film.
📝 Artist Bio/Statement – Introduce yourself and your artistic vision.
📲 Social Media Handles – To help spread the word about your film!

🎭 Experimental Short – Explore avant-garde storytelling with bold, artistic expressions (Max 10 mins).
🎞 Experimental Documentary/Essay Short – Reflect on personal, societal, or cultural themes through an introspective lens (Max 10 mins).
🎶 Cinematic Poetry/Video Art – A fusion of poetic narratives and stunning visuals, including music videos (Max 10 mins).
🎨 Animation & VR – Immerse audiences in family-friendly animated worlds or virtual reality experiences (Max 10 mins for Animation, 3 mins for VR).
