Chris Schnabel is a distinguished director with a prolific career in video production. Holding degrees from the University of New Haven and Gonzaga University, he consistently demonstrates a commitment to excellence. During his undergraduate years, he took on multiple roles as director, producer, writer, and editor for the campus talk show "UNH Late Night Charge." Additionally, he launched "Off Stage" with sheer determination, overcoming a lack of backing and budget to bring his vision to life. When Chris sets his mind to a project, he makes it a reality.
Beyond video production, Chris has ventured into podcasting, creating two notable podcasts: "Mad Props with Chris Schnabel," featuring interviews with top professionals from various fields, and "Sketching Up," which focuses on nerd culture. His talents were recognized when he was appointed as a producer for the official podcasts of the Vegas Golden Knights in 2022. He also played a pivotal role in launching 'Zags on Air' on Gonzaga's campus.
Chris has gained valuable experience working with prestigious organizations such as Gonzaga University, the Boston Red Sox, the USTA, and Harvard. In 2022, he produced the short film 'DJ Gurule: Rebuilding a Culture,' which chronicles the transition of Coach DJ Gurule from a successful women’s tennis coach at Gonzaga to a men’s tennis coach.
In 2023, Chris served as the Video and Social Media Manager for Hartford Athletic, creating content for the team's in-stadium use, online presence, and beyond. His dedication and multifaceted talents continue to leave a significant impact on the world of media and entertainment.
Currently, Chris is working with his company, Schnabel Studios, LLC, in Dallas helping people create videos and bring events from the stage to your home!
