I started photography when I was in college, and what was supposed to be a hobby turned into a passion for the arts. Living in Lake Tahoe, I started taking black and white photos of the landscape around me. However, I started seeing the same image taken by other photographers I knew, and the photos I took started losing its originality. I wanted a change of pace in the hopes of standing out from the artists that I met, and that’s when I changed my work into surrealism, turning my photography into dream-like art. Since I
took on photography, I have been expanding my styles, going from making combination prints in the darkroom, to making picture weaving artworks with digital photography.
