Chad Jardine is a writer/director based in Pleasant Grove, Utah.
He's driven by inspiring true stories from history that deserve to be told. He learned the storytelling as a marketing executive crafting narratives, producing marketing videos, and writing content for brands. Now he's testing those skills in the most compelling narrative format yet invented, screenwriting for film.
In 2026, Jardine made his directorial debut with "Racing for Laverda: P.K. Davies." The feature-length documentary chronicles three-time British motorcycle racing champion P.K. Davies. At 82 years old, the former legend reflects on his battle against Japanese corporate giants on the Isle of Man TT, motorcycle racing's most dangerous circuit. Working as a one-man crew, Jardine served as writer, director, cinematographer, and editor. The documentary screened privately at the 50th anniversary celebration of the Laverda Jota and is now being submitted to festivals.
His short script "Passeurs" explores another chapter of hidden history. A French resistance fighter must risk everything when German patrols threaten scores of Jewish children stranded at the border. The WWII historical drama is on FilmFreeway as a proof of concept for a larger feature or series.
These projects are connected by Jardine's passion for true stories that inspire, impress, and move audiences. Stories that reveal the extraordinary courage of ordinary people facing impossible odds.
"I didn't find these stories," he explains. "They found me, and they nudge me constantly. I cannot rest until they are brought to life."
Jardine's goal is to continue writing and directing inspiring films based on true stories. He's compelled to see more of these untold stories produced and shared with the world.
