Carolina Schaller is an advanced student of the Bachelor's in Combined Arts and the Technical Degree in Image, Sound, and Multimedia Design at the Faculty of Arts, Design, and Cultural Sciences (FADYCC-UNNE). In 2017, she created the short film Tras el Miedo (After the Fear). In 2018, she worked as an art assistant on the web series Pez Gordo (Big Fish). In 2020, she directed the dance video El dilema de los animales (The Dilemma of Animals), which was screened at the Santos Film Fest (2020), Lapacho Festival (2021), Oberá en Cortos Festival (2021), and the dance video festival Cuerpo Mediado (Mediated Body) (2021). In 2021, she was awarded the Creation Scholarship from the National Arts Fund (FNA) in the group category for the video installation project Ausencias (Absences). This work was presented at the Play Experimental Film Festival in 2023 and at the ArteCo Art Fair in Corrientes (2024). During this fair, she received a scholarship for a research and artistic production residency at "La Nave," the studio of Andrés Waissman. In 2024, she directed the animated short film Toda la luz mala (All the Bad Light), which won the Latin American Stop Motion Short Film Laboratory award at the SMOF festival.
