Carlos Lerma (born June 12, 2003) is a Mexican multi-hyphenate writer, director, and producer. Born in Monterrey, Mexico, but currently residing in Chicago, IL, he is best known for his festival-acclaimed original films, which include "Wish We Never Met" (2022), "Sunflower's Friend" (2022), and "Faraway Fiesta" (2023). Lerma has also adapted some of his publications for the screen, such as "The Wright Choice" (2022). Additionally, he has published illustrated poetry books, including "Underdog Days" (2022), which is an English translation of one of his Spanish best-selling books.
