Brandon Alvis is an award-winning filmmaker, director, and editor with over a decade of experience in documentary and unscripted television. He is the creator and showrunner of Haunted Discoveries and its spin-off Haunted Discoveries: Family Spirits, overseeing development, production, and post-production across eleven combined seasons distributed internationally.

His feature documentary Cemetery Park was officially selected for the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, marking a pivotal moment in his transition into long-form, character-driven filmmaking. Brandon’s work blends documentary structure with cinematic pacing, often exploring history, memory, and the emotional connections people have to place.

In addition to his independent film and television work, Brandon has a background in commercial and broadcast production, having worked as a Commercial Producer and Promotions Producer for KEYT 3, FOX 11, and CBS 12 in Santa Barbara. This experience sharpened his ability to tell concise, impactful stories while working within fast-paced production environments.

Brandon is deeply involved in post production, shaping narrative through edit and sound design, an approach that has helped his projects connect with both broadcast audiences and film festival programmers.
