Jody Dobson is a director, screenwriter, and producer based in New York City. After bringing the short film “Rain” to the festival market, he is set to direct and edit the upcoming short "Boxing Day." As a screenwriter, his film "Ugly as an Ape" is currently in development. His producing credits include "York Street," "Sunday Dinner," "Apostles of Park Slope," and "A Box Came to Brooklyn" with Park Slope Films. In addition to his film work, he has directed the NYC stage plays “The Hatchet” and “Circus.” He has also served as a judge for the Art of Brooklyn Filmfest, supporting independent filmmakers and emerging voices in the community.
