An award-winning director, producer, sound designer, and an award-nominated cinematographer and editor of a multi-award winning film, I came to filmmaking later in life.
After spending almost half of my 20s teaching English in Korea, I decided to make a change. At 30, I enrolled in the DePaul MFA film program to follow my dreams. During my time there, I got married and we welcomed our son into the world.
After a long and arduous process spanning over 2 years, I finally completed my thesis film and graduated in Fall of 2018. The film is now on its festival run, where it has earned much success.
Having overcome many hardships to get to this point, I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunity to share my film with the world.
"There are deeper strata of truth in cinema, and there is such a thing as poetic, ecstatic truth. It is mysterious and elusive, and can be reached only through fabrication and imagination and stylization." ~Werner Herzog
