Bedechka Amateur Film Fest

The Bedechka Amateur Film Fest is back for its second edition, and we're searching for stories that ground us.
Theme: Grounding
Challenge: Create a short film (maximum 10 minutes) that explores the connection between nature, ourselves, and finding our place in the world.
Who can participate?
This competition is open to amateur filmmakers and actors of all ages. Whether you're a seasoned videographer or just starting with your phone camera, we encourage you to unleash your creativity and share your unique perspective.
About the Festival:
The Bedechka Amateur Film Fest is held outdoors in the secret meadow of Bedechka Park, Stara Zagora, Bulgaria on June 22nd, 2024. This enchanting location, nestled by the Bedechka River and surrounded by forest, is the perfect setting to connect with nature and immerse yourself in cinematic storytelling.
Bedechka Film Fest is part of the NA ZELENOprogram, which aims to preserve the park's habitat and protect it from development. We believe in the power of film to raise awareness and inspire action, and we hope your submission will contribute to this important cause.
Selection Process:
Our jury comprises five highly experienced short film producers with Master's degrees in film-related fields. They will rigorously evaluate submissions based on:

Sound and Music
Acting Performance
Editing
Plot/Scenario
Scenography

Awards:
We will be awarding certificates to the best films in each of the judging criteria.
