I was very sad to miss the event but the communications with festival staff were incredibly organized and supportive. I will NOT miss the next one!

  • A lovely festival run by lovely people in the beautiful city of Boston! I was very impressed not only with the festival's venue and organization, but also with the audiences who were extremely well informed and passionate about film. Thank you for including Justice For Vincent in BAAFF19. #risingtogether

I'm very proud to be a part of BAAFF - as a filmmaker and social activist, there is no other organization I would be happier to be associated with with respect to Asian American storytelling. The events are always a powerful reminder of how strong we all are when we work and celebrate as a community.

  • BAAFF is a great festival for Asian centric filmmakers. The festival takes place over 10 days so there is plenty of time to catch other films and to mingle. They have great venues like the Brattle Theater and The Paramount in Downtown Boston.

They are well organized and really treat you like family. I got to meet so many wonderful people from the Boston community. We even posed for photos with Rosalind Chao from the Joy Luck Club on the first night. Being at BAAFF was such an honor and seeing our film "The Most Interesting Man in Show Business" screen to a packed theater was quite the experience.
