BAAFF is so well oiled, I have to believe even if it was a 2 week long festival, it would still be efficiently run. The people who work on the festival are 2 steps ahead of everything which is exactly where you, as a filmmaker, want festival people to be. Well run, great programming, I salute you BAAFF!

I was honored to have my documentary "Other" world premiere at the 2017 BAAFF. The BAAFF staff truly cares about the festival and makes all their filmmakers feel like VIP. I flew out from Seattle and am truly glad I did, it was worth it. Q&A was handled well, and post screening networking and interviews were really fun. I look forward to submitting my future films to BAAFF again!

They have built a great audience over the years, so most of the screenings this year were sold out. The formal, sit down Q&As after each screening are wonderful for filmmakers. Totally worth the trip!

Excellent festival. Nice venue. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. If your project has an Asian American focus or your an API filmmaker, I'd highly recommend this festival.
