Aurora is a first class NFS graduate with ten years professional experience as a Director. She started her production company LITTLE NORTHERN LIGHT in Leeds where she directed promos and signed to ACADEMY FILMS before winning the EPIC award to make short "Life on the Line".

DIRECTORS UK recently supported Aurora to make short psychological thriller “Murmur”. which has had international festival success, with Aurora picking up Best Breakthrough Filmmaker and awards for actors. Previously she signed her UKFC funded supernatural short "Shades of Living" to Shorts International, while her Nokia Short "Daniel" premièred at Edinburgh IFF.

After winning ‘The Pitch’ at Pinewood Aurora made ambitious sci-fi short film PULSAR starring David Gyasi (Interstellar) and Jessie Buckely (War & Peace), due for release in early 2017.

Aurora is developing Sci-fi feature “Tipping Point” with Jude Goldrei with support through Birds Eye View’s FILMONOMICS, 104 Film’s Digital Revolutionaries, Sheffield Talent Centre Programme, VFX Script to Screen Ireland, Screen Yorkshire’s Triangle and EU MEDIA. Franc Roddam is currently mentoring Aurora through the Women in Film and TV scheme.
