The 10th Annual Atlanta Shortsfest is held July 16 - 18, 2020 at the Synchronicity Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia.

Atlanta Shortsfest showcases a diverse mix of short films by ultra-talented filmmakers from across the globe.

Traditionally, short films often do not garner the attention they deserve on the festival circuit. Atlanta Shortsfest was established to spotlight and promote excellent short films, and provide an important platform to share and discuss your work with appreciative audiences and fellow filmmakers.

The Atlanta Shortsfest showcases a variety of short films with a running time under 45 minutes. Judges program comedy, animation, documentary, experimental, horror & sci-fi, personal, erotic, fantasy, drama, thrillers, action & adventure, cult and just about any other genre you can imagine.

Atlanta Shortsfest is held at Synchronicity Theatre, a 140-seat theater right in the heart of the Midtown/Uptown neighborhood, on Peachtree St. in the Peachtree Pointe building. With a great restaurant next door, hotels nearby and safe, easy parking, Synchronicity Theatre is the new hub for intimate in-town entertainment.

The Atlanta Shortsfest is part of the Atlanta Film Series, a four-month showcase of independent film showcasing every genre imaginable.

Very nice festival event. The venue @ Synchronicity Theater in Atlanta is PERFECTLY intimate. Our team was so humbled to have had our project screened for the Atlanta audience there.

So honored that my short film Timmy Slays the Talent Show played the festival. I wasn't able to attend this year, but the festival directors were great to deal with and I was contacted by people that saw my film at the festival which was really nice.

I've had two films in the festival, yet. Unfortunately, I have never had the chance to actually attend. But the communication with the staff and organizers has just been great. Very friendly and pleasant. I hope to attend in the future!

As a filmmaker, this was a wonderful experience -- the festival directors stayed in close communication, quickly answered questions, and provided a wonderful atmosphere. I was also fortunate enough to be able to attend, and as a filmgoer I was delighted and impressed by the quality of the films. A great experience all around!
