The 12th Annual Atlanta Horror Film Festival will be held October 25 - 27, 2017 at the Synchronicity Theatre.

Atlanta Horror Film Festival is the top horror film festival in Atlanta. We are dedicated to showcasing films from the world's most talented filmmakers. Our program is packed with award-winning films from every corner of the earth.

In our 12 seasons, we have consistently programmed films that stick with you long after the festival is over, and films you won't see anywhere else.

Atlanta Horror Film Festival is a must for established and up-and-coming filmmakers who have created short and feature films that audiences can not forget.

Our selection committee programs every kind of film in the horror genre: from sci-fi to gore, and everything in between.

The 2018 festival will be a celebration of 12 great seasons, and a huge party is already being planned, including some awesome parties for attendees.

Atlanta Shortsfest is held during the annual Atlanta Film Series, a five-part showcase of independent film packed with five unique film festivals designed to spotlight every genre of cinema imaginable.

The scorching summer months bring Atlanta's Summer Film Series. Celebrate a collection of music related films at the Music in Cinema (MIC) Film Festival in June. In July, the best shorts in the world are presented at the Atlanta Shortsfest, and the top independent features and shorts are showcased at the Atlanta Underground Film Festival.

Atlanta's Fall Film Series, held September and October, is a showcase of unforgettable documentary films during the Atlanta Docufest, and a terrifying celebration of the best horror films from across the globe at Atlanta Horror Film Festival.

All events are held at The Synchronicity Theatre, a 140-seat theater right in the heart of the Midtown/Uptown neighborhood, on Peachtree St. in the Peachtree Pointe building.

With a great restaurant and bar next door to the theatre, filmmakers and fans can gather after their screenings to connect and collaborate.

Join us in 2018 for all of these events at the Atlanta Film Series, and see why Atlanta has become the top destination for filmmakers and their fans!

We were honored to be selected for this year's AHFF and had a great time at our screening. Bj and Eric were excellent hosts and made us feel very welcome. The quality of the other films that I got to see in our shorts block was very good, so I look forward to submitting again in the future. The only downside was the quality of the projector, but hopefully that gets fixed next year. Thanks so much for having us!
