Arturo is an award-winning and produced screenwriter. He graduated from New Mexico State University majoring in Broadcast TV News Journalism. While attending college, he learned reel to reel editing as well as non-linear editing, videography and photo-journalism. He studied in Mark Medoff's (Tony award winner for 'Children Of a Lesser God) creative writing course. He began writing his first script when he was 11 years old after he was inspired by his teacher and has been writing ever since. Not only is he a writer and director, but he also is an actor, having worked on such movies as Due Date being Robert Downey, Jr's stand in and working along side Colin Hanks and Eric Balfour in the indie film RX, directed by Ariel Vromen (The Iceman).
