Anna Lozinska was born in 1996 in Uman, Ukraine, and currently resides and works in Kyiv, Ukraine, and Cologne, Germany. She earned her bachelor's degree in philology from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv in 2018 and completed a guest year at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne, Germany, in 2023, focusing on documentary filmmaking, feature film production, camera work, and photography. In 2024, she began her master's degree in this school majoring in cinematography, documentary and photography.
Anna is a versatile creator, serving as a cinematographer, director, photographer and media artist. Her work explores the profound impact of war on individuals, the experiences of migration and refugees, as well as the complex concept of "home." Additionally, she dedicates her time as a volunteer, contributing as a cinematographer to the documentary project "Ukrainer."
