Ângelo Varela is a Portuguese Director and Senior Video Editor based in Luton, who is passionate about the image.

He has ample experience working in commercial film, and the skills he has acquired on that journey have been invaluable in his pursuit of directing and producing short films and music videos.
Going forwards, his focus is on the narrative, and to be able to work on any projects that have to do with commercials, music videos, documentaries, or short/feature films.
He has moved to Luton to study Film Production through the course of Higher Education while working as a freelancer. Before this change, he worked as Senior Editor for Zoe Films for 3 years.

In 2021 he received an Honorable Mention for Juicers plus two final awards and in the same year, he started his new production company, Kletick.
