Anatolian Short Film Festival is a online-monthly international short film festival. The mission of the festival is to offer all short film directors internationally the chance to showcase their films and give this experience to our independent directors. We also create a short film viewing platform thanks to our online screenings. As a result of the 'open' audience vote every month, a film and its director are deemed worthy of the audience award. Apart from this, a film is awarded with a special festival award as a result of the votes of our festival team and the jury. All filmmakers participating in our festival, are taken to Whatsapp Group of ASFF upon their request. In this way, they can communicate with the festival directors very quickly!

Rules & Terms

1 - PARTICIPANTS

The festival allow any filmmaker to any age and country. Any kind of movie can participate to ASFF! All films that follow the rules will be selected and voted.

2 – TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

We accept short films (from 0 to 45 minutes) from any country, year and genre. We admit any genre and topic.

You can also enter the film from other editions of the Festival except if you were selected or awarded. You can also send as many films as you want.

Anatolian Short Film Festival will be held on 23rd - 31st of every month.
The films can be submitted up to 21st of every month.

No returnable entry fees for the submission!

3 - RIGHTS

The owners of the rights of the films allow the film to be shown in the festival but also some extract of the films ( no more than 1 minute) for the promotion of the ASFF. The posters and pictures sent to advert the films can be used also by the ASFF to promote the event in the future. ASFF reserves the right to make changes to the Prize Money in case of insufficient participants.

4 – ACCEPTANCE OF THE RULES

Participation in this Festival entails the acceptance of the current regulations. The festival keep the right of changing any rule if there is any mandatory reason and also declare a prize not awarded if the quality is not enough.

5 - MONTHLY VOTING & AWARD SYSTEM

Audience Award: The films participating in the festival will be released on our website by dividing them into 3 separate groups and following the festival calendar. Audience gives a point after watching the films of that groups. In the total of these ratings, the 5 films with the highest rating from each group remain in the final group.
After a total of 15 films from 3 groups are in the final, the last group films are shown again and the film with the highest score wins the audience's special award.

Special Jury Award: %80 Jury Votes / %20 Festival Team Votes

Best Student Film Award: It is determined by taking the average of the votes received by the student films in the audience voting and the votes received from the jury.
