Alessandro Santini was born in Ascoli Piceno (Italy) on 26th August 1994.
After graduating from science high school “Liceo Scientifico Leonardo da Vinci” (Civitanova Marche, Italy), he studied “film making and screenwriting” at “Accademia Nazionale Del Cinema” (Bologna, Italy) from 2014 to 2016. He graduated with great success.
At the same time he studied “film critic” and “history of cinema” at Alma Mater Studiorum, department of Literature and Cultural Heritage.
In 2016 he wrote and directed his first short film “EPIDEMIA”, produced by Accademia Nazionale Del Cinema, as his final exam in “film making and screenwriting”.
In 2017 he wrote and directed his second short film “CENERE”, produced by Loga.Fin s.r.l.
Actors Gianluca Bazzoli, Marco Aiello and Maria Vittoria Barrella are involved in the project as key cast.
On February 2018 Alessandro Santini signed a contract with Premiere Film, a well known production and distribution house.
The short film “CENERE” is in the "Cannes Court Métrage" catalogue of 71° Festival de Cannes, Short Film Corner section.
"CENERE" is in the official selection of 30° Fano International Film Festival.
