ELIGIBILITY (Italian below)
• The theme of the exhibition is consonances and dissonances in our times.
• The festival is open to international filmmakers for over 18 years.
• Short films have been produced after January 1, 2021.
• The Festival is open to short films (fiction, animation, experimental, art and music videos) and documentaries; short movies with a maximum duration of 25 minutes (titles included), documentaries should run for no more than 35 minutes.
• Entries must be submitted in Italian or subtitled in Italian (.SRT file / Burnt subtitles).
• All artists working are welcome to submit up to three works for jury consideration.
• There is no entry fee for International Short Film Competition.
• To participate is mandatory to register and upload your work via FilmFreeway.
• The short movies and documentaries are selected at the incontestable discretion of the artistic direction of the festival.
• The winners will be chosen by a jury of entertainment industry professionals and announced on the winner’s day. The jury’s choice is final.
• The audience of the Festival will vote for their favorite short film.
• The participants authorize the use of a fragment of his work up to 50 seconds or 10% full, for possible broadcast and promotion.
• The short films selected for the final phase of accordi @ DISACCORDI could also be screened during the next ICFF - Italian Contemporary Film Festival to be held in Canada and partner of accordi @ DISACCORDI - International Short Film Festival.
• The festival reserves the right to assign films to a different category than the one for which they were originally submitted.
• The organization assumes that participants have the right to exhibit and promote the works and material presented and disclaims any responsibility for the violation of these rules.
• The organizing committee reserves the right to screen the submitted works. Those selected for screening during “accordi @ DISACCORDI” will be notified at least three weeks before the event starts by e-mail (by October 20, 2023).
• If your film is SELECTED, the International Short Film Festival requires the following, to be received within two weeks of the event (by October 27, 2023) :

2. Blue Ray or Digital HD in Italian or subtitled in Italian or English (1080p, H.264, . MP4, .MOV)
3. Short synopsis
4. Director’s biography
5. Photo of the director
6. Posters, photos, press kit of the film (cast and crew).
The participants authorize to use their name and address for all purposes related to the event, according to the law (no. 2016/679 – GDPR).
Tapes and other materials will NOT be returned and remain in strict possession of the organization and the festival’s archive.
Entry in the competition implies acceptance of these rules and the decision by the organizing committee to resolve any incidents which may arise during the organization and duration of the Contest.
REGOLAMENTO
Il tema del concorso è: consonanze e dissonanze dei nostri tempi.
Possono partecipare al concorso autori maggiorenni di qualsiasi nazionalità.
I cortometraggi devono essere stati realizzati a partire dal 1° gennaio 2021.
Il Concorso è aperto a cortometraggi di fiction, di animazione, sperimentali, di backstage e making of, di video musicali, di video art e a documentari, le opere non devono superare la durata di 25 minuti (titoli inclusi); per i documentari è ammessa la durata massima di 35 minuti.
Il materiale o i cortometraggi che partecipano alla selezione devono essere inviati in italiano o sottotitolati in italiano (file .srt).
Sono ammesse alla selezione fino a tre opere per autore.
L’iscrizione al concorso internazionale per cortometraggi con le proprie opere è totalmente gratuita.
Per partecipare è obbligatorio registrarsi e caricare la propria opera tramite FilmFreeway; o in alternativa inviare la propria opera tramite servizio postale allegando tutto il materiale indicato di seguito.
Le opere pervenute saranno selezionate per accedere alla fase finale del concorso, ad insindacabile giudizio del comitato di direzione artistica del Festival.
I vincitori saranno stabiliti da una giuria di professionisti dell'industria dello Spettacolo e annunciati nella serata finale del Festival. La decisione della giuria è inoppugnabile.
L’Audience Award per il miglior cortometraggio è determinato dai voti del pubblico.
I partecipanti autorizzano l'utilizzo di parte delle proprie opere, fino a 50 secondi o al 10% della durata complessiva, per divulgazione pubblicitaria e promozionale dell’attività da parte dell’Ente Organizzatore del Festival.
I cortometraggi selezionati per la fase finale di Accordi @ DISACCORDI potranno essere proiettati anche durante il prossimo ICFF - Italian Contemporary Film Festival che si terrà in Canada e partner di Accordi @ DISACCORDI.
Il Festival si riserva il diritto di assegnare i film brevi ad una categoria differente a quella originariamente iscritta.
L'organizzazione presuppone che i partecipanti abbiano il pieno diritto di esporre e promuovere le opere e il materiale presentato e declina ogni responsabilità per la violazione di queste regole.
Il comitato di direzione artistica del Festival si riserva il diritto di esaminare i lavori presentati. La notifica del materiale selezionato per le proiezioni della fase finale del Festival verrà effettuata almeno tre settimane prima inizio dell'evento tramite e-mail o telefono (Entro il 20 Ottobre 2023).
Se il tuo film verrà SELEZIONATO, il Festival Internazionale del Cortometraggio richiederà quanto segue, da consegnare entro due settimane prima dell’inizio della manifestazione (Entro il 27 Ottobre 2023):

I partecipanti autorizzano ad utilizzare il proprio nome e indirizzo per tutte le finalità connesse all'evento, ai sensi di legge (n. 2016/679 - GDPR).
I cortometraggi e altri materiali NON saranno restituiti e rimarranno in stretto possesso dell'organizzazione e dell'archivio del festival.
L'iscrizione al concorso implica l'accettazione di queste regole e la decisione da parte del comitato organizzatore di risolvere eventuali contestazioni che potrebbero verificarsi durante l'organizzazione e la durata del Concorso
