Born in Gdynia, Zuzanna Pobłocka-Bulczak is a graduate of the University of the Arts Poznań and a current degree candidate in Polish Philology at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. She specializes in under-camera animation techniques, with a particular interest in cut-out animation and mixed media.
In her graduation film, Kaszubia/Kaszëbë, she returns to her Kashubian roots, which she also explores in her Master's thesis in literary studies focusing on Kashubia. She is deeply interested in the synthesis of the arts, particularly the relationship between film, literature, and music. For this reason, most of her projects to date have been dialogue-free, with the soundtrack playing a crucial role.
