Director Zoey Kriegmont grew up in Juneau, Alaska and moved to Monterey, California at the age of 18 to attend CSU, Monterey Bay. While in school, Kriegmont began figure modeling for esteemed sculptor Richard MacDonald, among other artists in the Bay Area, and was a frequent theatrical lead in Eclectic Collective Productions. Upon graduating Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Mathematics, Kriegmont relocated to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career. After eight months of method and commercial training and acting in a handful of music videos, commercials, and indie features, Kriegmont applied for the La Guarimba Film Residency program in Amantea, Italy. Her film, ZOI, shot entirely on iPhone 13 Pro in the span of ten days, is her directorial debut. Kriegmont is currently based in Los Angeles, and works primarily as a figure model for notable institutions such as Art Center, LCAD, LAAFA and Otis. Along with the post-production and circulation of ZOI, Kriegmont is working on a series and feature length adaptation, as well as an exhibition of her curated photography prints.
