Željka Županć is a Croatian-born filmmaker and multidisciplinary artist based in Dublin. After two decades working as a graphic designer, she enrolled at the National Film School at IADT.

Her student films have already received international recognition. The documentary Tommy, My Neighbour (2025) was shortlisted for the Young Director Award at Cannes and won the Emerging Director Award in Ireland in the Student category. Her short fiction My Baby (2025) received the First Frame Best Short Fiction Film Award at the Dublin International Film Festival. She has also been recognised for her screenwriting, placing in the top 18% of discoverable projects on Coverfly in August 2025.
