A National Student Emmy Nominee, three-time Scholastic Gold Key Recipient, and regionally recognized public speaker, Zan is a visual storyteller attending Kenyon College who is passionate about helping audiences process trauma through film and television. Born and raised in Parkdale, Oregon, she has worked behind a camera for over seven years. Zan has found success as a documentary editor, portrait photographer, and through her recent narrative short film. She will graduate from Kenyon in 2027 with a Film BFA and plans to enter the television industry. Her work as a writer, editor, and director have been recognized by 14 film festivals, from LA, to Toronto, to the longest running independent film festival in the world.
