2nd edition of ZMINA. Kyiv International Liberty Film Festival (former "Ukrainian Libertarian Film Festival").

ZMINA is a Ukrainian film festival, presented by the NGO "Ukrainian Students for Freedom", which is devoted to promoting the ideas of freedom, dignity, and clarity to the young audience.

We're committed to promoting the ideas of liberty, dignity, and integrity.

In this festival edition, we're gonna introduce our festival as a special platform for discussion and exploring the most important topics for the local film industry.

1. Competition Program Details:

The competition program is dedicated mostly to short films (except our special program, which is in this edition is "The Right of Self-Determination") up to 30 minutes.
Submissions can encompass films from any year of production.
If selected, a DCP (Digital Cinema Package) file of the film may be required for exhibition.

2. Subtitle Requirements:

All films must include English subtitles for comprehensive understanding.
Ukrainian films presented in Russian must provide both Ukrainian and English subtitles.

3. Resubmission Policy:

Films submitted in previous years are eligible for resubmission.

4. Copyright Ownership:

Submitters must possess full copyright ownership of the submitted works.

5. Jury Decision:

The judgment rendered by our esteemed jury will be considered final and conclusive.

6. Promotional Use:

By submitting your work, you grant us the right to employ excerpts of your submission for promotional activities on our social media platforms and official website.

7. Grant of Exhibition Rights:

Submitting your application grants us the right to showcase your film at the ZMINA Kyiv International Liberty Festival in the event of its selection.

8. Language Requirements:

Any film without subtitles and note "subtitles in progress" will be automatically disqualified.
