BIOGRAPHY: ZALESKY'S / Slawek Zalewski
He studied at the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. He graduated with distinction from the Animated Film Studio of Professor Jerzy Kucia. He collaborates with the Animated Film Studio in Krakow and debuted with a mid-length animated film. For many years, he has drawn and designed for the British Council. With the Animated Film Studio in Krakow and the Semafor Film Studio in Łódź, he is developing a feature-length animated film, The Book of Paradise, based on Icyk Manger. He is developing his own film series as a visual for the American television station PBS at the Cannes Film Market. He is establishing his own multimedia film studio. He creates visual projects for museums in Krakow and Warsaw and designs multimedia sets for the Ludowy Theatre in Krakow. His original films are presented at festivals around the world. Currently, he is exclusively engaged in his own artistic activity.
