Yuzhu Xiang is an independent filmmaker from China. Learned film-making in college, after graduation, he had the work experience as an assistant director and a screenwriter. Yuzhu completed his first feature film "午夜阳台" (The Balcony in The Moonlight) in 2019. In 2020, "午夜阳台" was nominated for the Best Director and the Best Screenplay at Vienna Independent Film Festival 2020, and was given the Honorable Mention at Hollywood New Directors 2020. "A Normal Cloudy Day" is his second feature film.
