I grew up in a modest family in Bursa, Turkey. I met life away from home when I studied to be a technical teacher at Ankara Gazi University. Then going farther, I had my master's degree at Tokyo Gakugei University on Educational Technology. With focus on my technical side, I started to work for Toyota at the project stage of the Adapazarı factory in Turkey. I worked in the field of quality at Toyota in Turkey, Japan and Belgium. I consider the experiences I had by growing up with my teammates as my biggest achievement.
On top of my quality engineering and management experience, I worked in the audio-visual field voluteerly in the last years. These included newspaper column writing, interviews, film and video production. In addition, I participated in activities to reinforce Turkey-EU relations and volunteer activities for immigrants in Belgium. I am currently pursuing my master's degree at Luca School of Arts in Brussels. This is a second life for me.
My hobbies are reading books, photography, music and especially walking. I find solitude in walking; feeling healthy in every sense. It also helps my creative side. And friends; everything done with them are beautiful.
I am still experimenting different forms of film making. However, my interests seem to move towards mystical and surreal films. I like to use symbols and metaphors.
