Yu-Han Tsai is a Taiwanese writer and director based in New York. A graduate of Columbia University's MFA program in Directing, her debut film was fully funded by Taiwan's Ministry of Culture and received multiple honors at the 41st Golden Harvest Awards, including Best Screenplay and Best Art Direction. Tsai crafts emotionally resonant work and explores the inner lives of women, identity and the subtle tensions between tradition and personal transformation.
