Yoann JEAN-CHARLES is a french director and screenwriter majored in film directing in France and New-York, born in Reunion island from a Reunionnese mother and a Guadaloupean father.

His current film is the documentary DOGS (written in capital letters) which possessed a singular artistic form : the film is a metaphor at the time of the movie making process of the director's artistic struggling self view lige through the perspectives of stray dogs's images, various daily life's captured scenes and sequences of the director's himself.

Yoann JEAN-CHARLES is also the director of Strike Night, a feature film released in theaters in France in 2018.
