England-born, Yety is a stylist, costume designer and creative producer with West African roots. Starting her decade-long career in New York City after an introduction to luxury menswear at British GQ and Mr Porter in London; she began her career in the U.S. at Cosmopolitan magazine. Yety’s short Rest Stop continues its success on the festival circuit after premiering at TIFF, screening at SXSW and winning the Jury Award for U.S. Fiction at the Sundance Film Festival 2023. While her upcoming feature One Night Stay premiered on BET+ and Amazon, in January 2024. Her latest short as producer, The Incredible Sensational Fiancée of Dr. Sèjí Àjàyí, exploring the Pan-African whimsical world of Alkebulan, is currently in post-production.
Yety is based between Los Angeles, New York City and London, England.
