Yang, Seung-Young spent their time there from Busan, South Korea to high school in 1970, and have lived in Seoul ever since. They once made a movie with 8mm film when they were in Soongsil University, and worked under directors Jang Gil-soo and Kim Jae-soo until they were 31 years old. Afterwards, they completed feature-length scenarios such as Bright and Sunset Day, Honmaguro, and The Murder at No. 1 and prepared for the feature-length director. With the digital transformation of the movie environment, Yang, SeungYong directed the short film Escape in 2020, and recently directed the short film Scratch.
