Yana Gukun was born and raised in Siberia in a criminal area. This influenced the formation of her preferences in cinema and art. As a child, she was uncomfortable communicating with her peers, and she chose to watch movies and TV series, preferably of American origin. At first, she studied at a school with an in-depth study of English, then transferred to a school with a mathematical bias. After graduating from high school, she entered the Moscow Higher School of Economics Faculty of Economics, after which she decided that she would never touch mathematics again in her life.
Immediately after graduating from university, she began studying the basics of movement, physical theater and acting, completing six months of training in the Meisner technique, and then a year at the Demidov School of acting, while simultaneously enrolling in a master's degree in Art Direction, where she really enjoyed studying contemporary art. Later, she began acting in plays with a focus on physical theater, and even more went into the field of theater and cinema.
Now Yana continues to function as an Artist, actress, performer and director in the field of fashion, design and cinema.
