The Narrow Way Film Festival (TNWFF) is an annual event that showcases media with Christian themes. We welcome work from all over the world from novice and experienced artists.

Best Feature Film Award

Awarded to the feature film with the best performance in storyline construction, character creation and emotional expression, showing the infinite possibilities of film narrative.

Best Documentary Award

Honors documentary works that show profound insight and unique perspectives by truly recording life, social phenomena or historical events.

Best Animation Award

Awarded to animation film works that are unique in creativity, visual expression and narrative techniques, and encourages innovation and development of animation art.

Best Experimental Film Award

Specially established for experimental works that dare to explore the boundaries of film language and challenge traditional narrative methods, in recognition of their unique contribution to film art.

Best Director Award

Awarded to directors who show extraordinary talent in overall control of the film, visual style and narrative strategy, affirming their core role in film creation.

Best Screenwriter Award

Honors screenwriters who have created fascinating, rigorously structured and profound scripts, and affirms their outstanding achievements in story construction.

Best Photography Award

Awarded to photographers who accurately capture the beauty of the picture and create a unique atmosphere through lens language, in recognition of their artistic attainments in visual expression.

Best Editing Award

Awarded to editors who improve the rhythm of the film and enhance the narrative effect through exquisite editing, recognizing their important role in post-production.

Best Music Award

Recognizes music works tailored for the film and perfectly integrated with the picture, recognizing the unique charm of music in the emotional expression of the film.

Best Art Design Award

Rewards the art team that shows high creativity and superb skills in scene arrangement, costume design, makeup and styling, and recognizes their contribution to the visual style of the film.

Best Newcomer Award

Specially established for newcomers who participate in the film festival or film production for the first time, to encourage and recognize their initial brilliance and unlimited potential in film creation.

Audience Choice Award

Determined by audience voting, it is awarded to the most popular and widely resonated film works by the audience, reflecting the close connection between the film festival and the audience.

Special Jury Award

The film festival jury will specially award the film works that are particularly outstanding in one or more aspects but do not meet the existing award standards based on the overall review, in recognition of their unique value and innovative spirit.

These awards are designed to comprehensively cover all aspects of film creation, encourage young filmmakers to continuously pursue excellence in all fields, and contribute to the prosperity and development of film art.

Eligibility

Participants must be between 18 and 30 years old.

Entries must be short films, no longer than 30 minutes.

Entries can be of any genre and subject matter, including but not limited to drama, documentary, animation, experimental, etc.

Submission requirements

All entries must be original and have not been publicly shown at other film festivals.

Submissions must include complete film files and corresponding promotional materials (such as posters, stills, etc.).

Jury and Awards

The jury will select the winning works based on criteria such as creativity, technical performance, film narrative and artistic contribution.

Winners will have the opportunity to receive awards such as cash rewards, industry resource support and international film festival screening opportunities.

Submission Deadline

All works must be submitted before the specified deadline. Late works will not be accepted.
