Xiaopei Wang is a Chinese writer-director working between China and the United States. Her films explore memory, gender, intimacy, and social pressure through narrative fiction, often moving from everyday realism toward emotional unease and buried social tension.
Her work includes Fireside, Pretty Girl, ALI, and Bilocation. She received her M.F.A. in Motion Pictures from the University of Miami and will continue her studies in Film and Media Studies at Columbia University while developing the short Stairwell and the feature screenplay Ghost Town.
