Wouter De Paepe (2002, Ghent) is a Belgian-Dutch filmmaker. In his work, formal experimentation and emotional vulnerability go hand in hand. With a strong interest in cinema as a space for thought, he is developing a distinctive cinematic language that is both playful and cerebral. His films unfold through layered structures, dry humour, and an imaginative, dreamlike sensibility. De Paepe lives in Ghent, where he is currently completing a degree in Audiovisual Arts at KASK.
