We have built a small but exceptional professional network of industry professional that will look at all films and will give business and commercial advice, in some cases the distributors attending will make offers to the filmmakers for their work and to work together to put your movies in the market place, we have the people and skills in our professional team to make this happen, if the professional attending feel there is a market for your movie, they will as with many films over the years of our other festival make it happen.

Film Fest international will launch a new Asian film festival brand in Madrid.

Global in outlook, AFFI is committed to unearthing open-minded filmmakers who cut through conceptual frameworks, paradigms and dichotomies. With a soft spot for Asian filmmakers worldwild, Asian cities, Asian stories, Asian Architecture, sci-fi narratives driven by Asian philosophies, and bringing ancient Asian heritage on to the screen.

AFFI plans to set up teams in some Asian cities where artists gather, such as Dali, Chiang Mai, Kyoto ......Under the “AFFI” umbrella a number of awards are on offer for feature films, short films (ultra-shorts), documentaries, museum film, animation ,music videos and more......

Rules & Terms

Rome FFI has as its objective the promotion of cinematographic art by presenting films of quality and entertainment. The festival is held from 8th November to 10th of November 2023, will do as much business for filmmakers attending as possible, an annual event based in Rome in Italy, it is possible that each film nominated may be presented more than once.

Entries must have been produced within the last five years. All films in a language other than English must be subtitled in English, we also welcome but it is not compulsory to have Italian as well as English subtitles were the film is in neither English or Italian to increase the possible markets, unless dialogue or commentary is unnecessary for comprehension and appreciation. .

Rome FFI reserves the right to use excerpts from submitted work for promotional purposes only. The Festival is open to the public as well as attending distribution and sales professionals. If your submission is officially selected, the festival may screen your film as part of their activities to assist in the sale of your movie for up to 12 months after the festival date, we have TV buyers and film buyers and distributors also attending, you will if your film is nominated have one to one meetings if you wish to talk business on your movie.

Official or professional national organisations and individuals may submit feature and short films to the Festival. Films submitted for pre-selection should arrive no later than 11th of October 2023 and must be shipped as per instructions above. All shipping costs of films must be borne by the sender. Please note: it is not possible for us to return any DVD or tapes, but can be collected by you at the festival... It is the Italy International Film Festival's policy not to offer comments and reasons for films not selected for the programme.
Because of the Covid epidemic and how this is effecting the worlds we are trying to create live events, however these are subject to support from filmmakers, if there is not the support for what ever reason at any specific event we will carry over to the next possible date, no refunds will be made as an alternative date will be offered.

By submitting your film you are agreeing to World Cinema Milan screening your film during the Festival and using your film for promotional purposes, as well as all the above regulations.
