Films will be played to an in-person crowd at the Flagstar Strand Theatre in Pontiac, MI.

Awards & Prizes

Woodward Film Festival will provide one cash award of $250 for the audience-selected "People's Choice Award."

Rules & Terms

GENERAL ELIGIBILITY
Accepting submissions from the Great Lakes Region Only. Preference for SE Michigan, and special preference for Pontiac, MI.

All submissions are considered; however, preference is given to POC perspectives.

If selected, you must provide a downloadable file in .mov format for exhibition

All films must be in English or have English subtitles.

The submitter grants Woodward Film Festival the right to use any excerpts from the film, as well as any information included with the film submission, as exhibition for promotional purposes.

The submitter shall indemnify and hold harmless Woodward Film Festival from and against any claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees, and costs of the court) that may be incurred because of any claim involving copyright, trademark, credits, publicity, screening, and loss of or damage to the screening materials entered.
