    We were really psyched that our short doc, Sweet Soul in Exile was selected for the Williamsburg Independent Film Festival because it is blocks from where we filmed and it was kind of poetic. The festival was not a disappointment. It is one of the coolest festivals we've been to. The organizers and staff are really nice people who treat the filmmakers with a lot of respect and professionalism. The projection of the film was clear with good sound. The Q&A afterwards was educated and interesting. People who came to see our movie were happy and so are we.

    We were thrilled to be included and really happy to have won best documentary film. We had our protagonist and camera man and several friends at the festival, and they had a great time! We were unable to attend, but got nice feedback. Thanks for putting this festival together.
