William started film-making in childhood with story-driven silent films on Super-8: super heroes, Dungeons & Dragons, mad scientists, etc. That segued to "talkies" on VHS of vampires, Doctor Who, and Star Trek. In adolescence he worked cameras for a live NEWS broadcast in his hometown and learned how to linear-edit video tape as he did voice-overs for commercial spots. His first non-linear digital editing experience came from a corporate video competition themed Mission Impossible.
Subsequently focusing on a career as a computer engineer on virtual reality, scientific visualization, military simulations, and 3D games lead him away from film for years. Since 2017 he has been actively involved in the Denver area film community and expanded his craft on many projects, stepping into the realms of casting, scouting, scheduling, and production as required.
