In 2024, as an active member of the Rankin County, MS, NAACP, Will’s film archives, social media, and literary work were instrumental in working with the Rankin County, MS, NAACP and being awarded the prestigious, 2024 - NAACP - Dr. Ross Thalheimer Award for community activism, chronicling the infamous “Goon Squad” Investigations & Indictments of 6 corrupt law enforcement officers in Rankin County, MS.
His business experience includes 30+ years in strategic planning, sales, marketing, communications, animation, media, screenwriting and independent film.
His film company had 6 projects in 2023, 2024, and 2025 debuting on the independent film festival circuit, and have collected 24 award wins, nominations and selections.
