Wesley Rickert is a Canadian writer, director & producer of no-budget arthouse features, performance poet and noise musician. His feature length arthouse films combine his obsession for cinema, abstract characters and novelty with his zeal for exploring diverse elements of time based experimental art. He has made 5 feature films that defy easy categorization, is co-founder of the Thousand Island Artist Residency, co-founder of 253469 Productions, a LIFT member, a regular contributor to "Maintenant -A Journal of Contemporary Dada", Three Rooms Press, NYC, worked with the American post-beat poet Steve Dalachinsky and has traveled & performed with the legendary Canadian sound poet bill bissett.
