Call for entries (2025):
• Filmmaker MUST be a student or a recent college graduate (within one year). As a student organization, Wallabout's goal is to promote student films. High school, undergraduate and graduate works are all eligible for consideration. Recent graduates (within one year) are encouraged to submit as well.
• Filmmaker must indicate what school they are attending (or recently graduated from) when submitting to Wallabout.
• All submissions for Wallabout Film Festival are free of charge.
• Film must have been completed after August 2023.
• Wallabout will only consider short films.
• Note: Films longer than 15 minutes are discouraged. We have limited space and want to showcase a broad range of work by as many filmmakers as possible.
• To submit, please provide a link and password via FilmFreeway.
• Note: If your film is selected to screen, Wallabout must have access to a .mov file of your film in order to project it properly.
• Foreign films are highly encouraged. If your film is not in English, it must have English subtitles.
• Filmmakers may submit multiple films, but each entry should be submitted separately.
• Wallabout is open to all genres, themes, and categories.
