Awards are announced in different categories each year, but typically include Best Overall Film, Best Concept, and an Audience Award. There are no cash prizes.

-Filmmaker MUST be a student or a recent college graduate (within one year). As a student organization, Wallabout's goal is to promote student films. -Wallabout will only consider short films.

-To submit, please provide a link and password via FilmFreeway. We do not accept DVD submissions.

-Note: Films longer than 15 minutes are discouraged. We have limited space and want to showcase a broad range of work by as many filmmakers as possible.

-Filmmakers may submit multiple films, but each entry should be submitted separately.

-Wallabout is open to all genres, themes, and categories.

For a festival that's run by students, it was an amazingly well-organized event. The venue was great; there were no technical hiccups during the screenings. Overall, I had a great time.
