However, in a way, Wade's life resembled the characters in Route 66, his favorite television series. Head writer Sterling Silliphant captured real people with real stories and was the only television series filmed entirely on location. Wade toiled at many different jobs. During his job career he had the following jobs: tourist boat dock boy near the base of Niagara Falls , assembly line for Buick radiators, security guard, assistant restaurant manager, fast food grill cook, real estate appraiser in Niagara Falls , real estate sales person, insurance agent, auto loan collector and repossession, and finally health care analyst for Optum Insight. The last being a work from home position.
Wade proudly served his country in the NY National Guard and US ARMY RESERVE with twenty years of service.
His crowning achievement is his marriage, and two daughters.
