The WIFT V-FEST (Women in Film & Television Australia) is a film and new-media (VR, 360, AR) festival aimed at celebrating, supporting, and elevating the work of women and gender diverse filmmakers and creatives both in front and behind the lens.

Submission is open for our short film, web series, and new media competition (15 mins max duration including credits) that have been completed after January 1, 2017.

We welcome short film submissions of any genre and style including web series, music videos, animation and new-media (360, VR, AR), from practitioners who fit the criteria and work within all areas of the screen industries. Entry to the film competition is open worldwide, and practitioners from under-represented communities are encouraged to apply.

The Short Film Competition recognises the in-kind support of our sponsors, in these challenging COVID times.
