WE:NOW is an initiative that was created with the aim of inspiring, empowering, making visible, celebrating and rewarding talent in the Visual Arts, Performing Arts, Music and Cinematography. It welcomes the artistic creativity of international culture to promote global understanding and dialogue, using artistic tools as an engine for social transformation.

It encourages all artists and creators to carry out innovative, groundbreaking, authentic projects in line with the problems of the contemporary world, offering them a series of tools for the development of their work: a streaming platform (wenow.online), prizes, grants and a festival where they can exhibit their work to the world.

The artists whose projects are selected will be eligible for these prizes:

🌟 (Standard - > 31 years old):

The jury of the WE:NOW Festival reserves the right to establish ex-aequo prizes, runners-up prizes or to declare the competition void.

All artists of legal age of any nationality may participate.

Artists who have won prizes in previous calls may apply with other projects.

In the event that a single candidacy is submitted by a group, all members must comply with the requirements established in these Legal Bases and must appoint a representative who will maintain the relationship with the organization and will be responsible for indicating, after written and signed confirmation from the rest of the members, how the prize will be distributed.

Limitations and exclusions from participation:

In the event that any of the participants do not comply with the requirements set out in these Legal Bases, or that their personal details are not truthful, their participation will be considered null and void and they will be immediately excluded from the call, losing the possibility of accessing any of the prizes. In addition, the following people or those whose projects conflict with the criteria governing the festival may not participate in the call:

- Employees, managers, collaborators or employees of any of the entities linked to the organization.

- Any other person who has participated or has been directly or indirectly involved in the elaboration of the call.

- Those works whose contents are limited, being out of the activities allowed by the Legal System, specifically by the Spanish Law: apology of violence, terrorism, discrimination, racism, xenophobia or pornography with minors.

- Those works whose rights of any kind are compromised in any way and/or that the candidate does not hold the necessary intellectual property rights at the time of submission.

Project requirements:

El Festival Internacional de Artistas de Madrid, WE:NOW, establishes four categories in which artists can compete: Cinematography, Visual Arts, Music and Performing Arts. Each entrant will submit a work that is limited, within the scope of each language, to one of the four categories. Within the sections of each category, the following documentation must be included:

- DNI - Residence Card - Passport.

- Brief biography of the participant, including both academic and professional aspects.

- A summary of the project or work presented.

- The organization will admit all types of works without artistic or duration limitations.

- Those works submitted which are not in Spanish must include English subtitles. In the event that the works are made in Spain but their language is any of the co-official languages of the Spanish State, they must also include subtitles in Spanish.
