The Visionary Filmmakers Showcase is the first of its kind monthly event where exceptional new talent will be celebrated and honoured .

This showcase screening differs from other types of events as only the highest quality shorts are screened and compete for the Jury Award, which is presented at the end of each monthly screening.

Our mission statement is for the audience to discover new and exciting talent. Our goal is for all of our filmmakers to meet and connect with new film industry professionals.

The festival is currently hosted on-line by Filmocracy. It is free to attend when you become a member - live screenings will return soon.

Everyone who submits their film is entitled to a discount on all of The Film Festival Doctor's services.

All selected films will be entitled to a 10% discount on all of The Film Festival Doctor's services.

Rules & Terms

* All selected films must be available to screen off of a high res electronic file (MPEG, H.624)
* All selected films must be original works and the filmmaker must own all rights to the film
* More than one entry may be submitted, however each entry must be submitted separately
* There is no premiere policy
* All Filmmakers will receive complimentary tickets for their screening and a welcome gift - we are unable to cover travel and accommodation costs
* All non-English language films must be submitted with English subtitles
* We accept student films
* Please submit secure on-line screeners only, DVD/Blue Ray will not be considered
* Filmmakers will be required to provide film trailers, press kits, poster, biogs and stills for the Visionary Filmmakers Festival promotional purposes
